Victoria is from Cambridge, Ontario in Canada. She is a student who is currently working on her Bachelor of Public Relations Degree at Conestoga College. She is also currently taking a makeup artistry program.
From a young age, Victoria always had a passion for volunteering in her community. At the age of 6, she started a fundraiser for the Cambridge and District Humane Society. It was a Bowl-A-Rama where kids signed up, collected pledges, then got together for a day of bowling, pizza and prizes that Victoria received from community sponsors. In 9 years, she raised over $64,000 for her local Humane Society.
While Victoria tries to help every charity she can, her primary focus is AIDS awareness. She volunteers with the ARCH clinic (AIDS/HIV Resources and Community Health) in both Kitchener/Waterloo and Guelph. Victoria believes that “The negative stigma behind HIV/AIDS is something that needs to be abolished. People with HIV/AIDS really are just like everyone else, and with the right medication they can really live like everyone else. It’s time we start looking at it that way and treat them with respect.”
In her free time, she focuses on school work, working part-time at a restaurant, teaching modelling and confidence to children, and volunteering at any event she can. When people ask her how she has time for everything, while still having time to enjoy young adulthood, she responds “I love being busy, I have ever since I was young. I feel like I would go crazy if I wasn’t proactive.”
