Carla is a native of Oklahoma and currently resides in Oklahoma City. She is an alumni of the University of Oklahoma where she obtained her bachelors and a masters degree in Clinical Social Work with a minor in Psychology. She is employed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health where she spends the majority of her time providing prevention education over Anti-Bullying, Cyberbullying, Internet Safety and Teen Dating Violence in schools across the state.

Carla has national certifications in Bullying Prevention andAnger Management. She is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist and a trained facilitator for the Prevention Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP) through the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative. She is currently taking classes to become a Board Certified Life Coach.

Aside from Carla’s educational and employment background, she is known throughout the pageant circuit and is honored to have captured her most recent win in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Ms. United Nation International 2014. This is her third big win, now making her a Triple CrownTitle Holder. Carla’s previous titles include: Ms. America International 2012 and Ms. US of America 2011. Carla uses her title to promote her platform Anti-bullying & Empowerment ofWomen along with supporting many other charities and causes. A few things she has been involved with include: Single Parent Support Network org., Internet Crimes AgainstChildren, American Heart Association – Guard A Heart &Go Red for Women, Domestic Violence prevention, Child Abuse prevention, Suicide Prevention – Live Out Loud Charity, Human Trafficking Prevention and the Wounded Warriors Project.

Carla was recently named VIP Women of the Year through the National Association of Professional Women and recognized by the National Women’s Leadership Association for her dedication and volunteer efforts to help make a difference in the lives of others across the world. Her most honorable award came from the President of the United States in recognition and appreciation of her commitment to strengthening our Nation and for making a difference through volunteer service.
Some of Carla’s other interests include: Acting & hosting lessons, Ballroom & Latin dance, Modeling – fashion shows & photo shoots, traveling and spending time with her family & friends. She is a graduate of Barbizon and John Casablanca Modeling schools and has appeared on the cover and in several issues of Supermodels Unlimited, Tiara, & Pageantry magazines.
